Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What services does NETZ WERK ENGINEERING offer?
NETZ WERK ENGINEERING offers 3D scanning, reverse engineering, product development, design of mechanical components, CNC machining, 3D metal printing, anodizing and coating, as well as measurement and documentation. Customers thus receive an end-to-end solution from digital capture to the finished machined component.
What is 3D scanning and when is it worthwhile?
3D scanning captures existing components precisely in digital form. It is particularly worthwhile when no drawings or CAD data are available, when a component needs to be reproduced, or when accurate geometry data is required for further processing.
What does reverse engineering mean?
In reverse engineering, an existing component is analysed and converted into usable CAD data. This data can then be further processed, adapted or used for production, for example for spare parts, older components or custom-made parts.
Which materials are possible with 3D metal printing?
With 3D metal printing, various metals are possible depending on the requirements, including stainless steel and aluminium. Which material is best suited depends on the area of application, the load, the desired surface finish and the technical requirements of the component.
Do you also offer CNC machining for one-off parts and small series?
Yes, NETZ WERK ENGINEERING offers CNC machining for both one-off parts and small and large series. This allows prototypes, spare parts, custom-made parts and series components to be produced precisely and efficiently.
In which region does NETZ WERK ENGINEERING operate?
NETZ WERK ENGINEERING is based in Switzerland and operates throughout the country. At the same time, we also work for international customers and support projects worldwide, depending on the requirements digitally, in an advisory capacity or in technical implementation.
